Social Times: Yesterday Caroline McCarthy highlighted some of the challenges facing OpenID and I have to say the battle between Facebook and the open standards community is about to get pretty fierce.

cNet: With all the buzz about Facebook Connect this week, it’s worth asking the question: Whatever happened to OpenID?

OpenID hat in den letzten Monaten einige prominente Unterstützung bekommen. Microsoft und Google hatten angekündigt, OpenID-Container zu werden, ebenso wie IBM und Verisign. Yahoo! ist schon soweit.
